The PSLE Mathematics Workshop was held on 12 September 2009. A total of 69 parents and students attended this workshop.
The speaker was our RPA MC member, Mr Too Meng Ken. Mr Too, who holds several post-graduate degrees in Mathematics, shared with parents and students on the techniques of solving challenging math questions. 41 mathematical questions were fielded by Mr. Too as he showed participants how to master the use of heuristic methods in problem-solving.
An evaluation survey was conducted on participants at the end of the workshop. Mr Too received an average rating of 81% for his overall performance. 87% of the participants indicated they would, in future, recommend such a workshop to their friends.

“Lecturer has real life experience to share”.
“My son picked up the techniques taught”.
Based on the positive feedback, we hope to conduct this workshop again in 2010.
